BIC METAL GATES, POSTS, PANELS AND FENCING Measuring (Timber Posts, Walls or Brickwork) Sizes refer to actual openings and not gate, fence or rail width - Hinges etc. already allowed for. Opening Directions Gate Latching: Single, bow top and tall single gates are supplied with a universal latch to allow for left/right hand opening. Doubles have the latch on the right hand leaf when viewed from the road. Gate Latching (Corfe and Balmoral) Corfe and Balmoral gates have the padlockable closing bolt on the right hand side when viewed from the road, unless otherwise requested. Gate Hanging Care must be taken to ensure brickwork is strong enough to support the gates; steel posts concreted into the ground are recommended on large gates. When hung on steel posts, allow for the post widths. Delivery Most gates, fence and railing are available for 5-10 day UK mainland delivery. TIMBER GATES AND POSTS Made from European managed forest softwood. Treated with a general purpose preserver which gives protection against decay, mould and blue-staining fungi.
